About the Orange Ribbon Tasuki Relay

The Orange Ribbon Tasuki Relay is an event held as part of the Orange Ribbon Campaign, an initiative to raise awareness of child abuse prevention. The event aims to promote greater understanding and awareness of child abuse prevention and contribute to creating a society where children can live safely and securely.

The orange ribbon is a symbol of child abuse prevention. Through the relay, participants pass on this message and highlight the importance of communities working together to protect and support children.

UPCYCLE Technologies participated in the event held on November 3, 2026, introducing its business activities and products to members of the local community.

Introducing Our Business and Showcasing Our Products

Chimi Ogi, Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Sawa Takami represented UPCYCLE Technologies at the event, introducing the Company’s business activities and showcasing and selling its products.

UPCYCLE Technologies is engaged in transforming organic waste, including food and agricultural residues, into valuable resources through its proprietary catalytic low-temperature carbonization technology. At the event, the Company introduced its resource circulation initiatives and explained how its technology can convert waste into valuable resources.

At our sales booth, we showcased and sold four types of products: the Kaffy Pita Cup, mugs, To-go cups, and ballpoint pens. These products are normally available exclusively online, making the event a valuable opportunity for visitors to see and handle them in person and experience their shapes, textures, and feel firsthand.

The products were well received by visitors, and purchases were made during the event. By allowing visitors to see and handle products that are usually presented only through online images, we were able to provide a more tangible experience of their individual features and appeal.

Alongside the product presentations, we also shared the Company’s vision of “Building Infrastructure that Transforms Waste into Resources” and introduced our ongoing resource circulation initiatives.

Looking Ahead

Participating in this event provided an opportunity not only to engage with the important issue of child abuse prevention but also to introduce our business and products directly to members of the local community. We were pleased that visitors had the opportunity to experience our products firsthand and make purchases.

UPCYCLE Technologies will continue creating opportunities to introduce its initiatives to a wider audience through participation in community events, product exhibitions, and sales activities. We will also actively share information to help more people understand the importance of resource circulation and experience the new value that can be created from waste.
