On October 8, 2026, UPCYCLE Technologies Inc. presented at the 351st Meetup Session, a pitch and mentoring event for startups.
Meetup Session is an online event for seed- and early-stage startups that provides opportunities to explore business growth and new possibilities through business presentations and mentoring.
Masatsuna Ogi, Representative Director and CEO of UPCYCLE Technologies, took the stage to introduce the company’s resource circulation business, which utilizes its proprietary catalytic low-temperature carbonization technology.
The technology processes organic waste, including food waste and agricultural residues, at low temperatures and converts it into reusable resources.
During the pitch, Ogi introduced the challenges associated with waste treatment, the distinctive features of the company’s technology, its decentralized resource circulation model that processes waste at or near the point of generation, and its future business development plans.
UPCYCLE Technologies will continue advancing commercialization through technology development and demonstration projects while strengthening collaboration with companies and support organizations. Through these efforts, the company aims to fulfill its mission of “Building Infrastructure that Transforms Waste into Resources.”
